The joy of felt-making is something that I am very passionate about. There is nothing more rewarding than teaching an adult class, and sharing my experience and love of felt. The way in which I like to work is by using a combination of wet felting, which gives a creative freedom, and then by embellishing with needle felting and hand stitching which adds a 3 dimensional depth. My classes can be for the complete beginner or for someone who has felted before. In a short time, you will be able to produce some amazing pieces of art which can be taken home and framed. The classes are also a lot of fun and you will discover skills that you never thought you had, which is so good for your confidence and mental well-being. Maybe I should also mention that I provide a nice cup of tea and a slice of homemade Cake!

Adult Workshops
The Felted Garden Workshop ................................................. Please bring in Photographs or pictures of your favorite flower border which we will then reproduce into felt. The aim is to create depth and a 3-dimensional feel. This day's course is creative and fun with great results. It involves wet felting, needle felting, and basic hand stitching. Suitable for any ability all materials provided. You will get a chance to produce two pices ,hopefully in the time provided. These pictures look amazing when framed in box frames. Approx size of felts 15cm x 15 cm.
The Felted Landscape Workshop ............................................... Please bring in a photograph or a picture of your favorite landscape or you can use one of mine and you will be able to transform it into a wooly masterpiece. Using the combination of wet felting and needle felting you will be able to bring the picture to life. This course is suitable for any age andability. All materials and equipment will be provided on the day.Finishing off with needle felting and hand stiching maybe have to be done at home if time runs out. size 30cm x 20 cm approx
